Report: Barcelona interested in Everton defender Ramiro Funes Mori

Barcelona have expressed an interest in Everton defender Ramiro Funes Mori, according to reports.

The 25-year-old joined the Toffees for £9.5m from River Plate last summer, quickly establishing himself as a regular in Roberto Martinez's side alongside John Stones.

The Liverpool Echo claims that Funes Mori caught the eye of Barcelona scouts who attended Everton games to watch Stones and Blaugrana loanee Gerard Deulofeu.

Currently in the United States, Funes Mori is part of the Argentina squad that will contest the Copa America Centenario semi-final on Wednesday against the host nation.
