Phil Jagielka returns to the Everton lineup for this afternoon's visit of Brighton & Hove Albion.

Phil Jagielka returns to the Everton lineup for this afternoon's visit of Brighton & Hove Albion.

The captain, back following injury, is included as one of four changes made by Sam Allardyce from the 2-1 loss to Burnley last weekend.

Also coming into the lineup are Wayne Rooney, Yannick Bolasie and Leighton Baines, as Cuco Martina and Dominic Calvert-Lewin drop to the bench, while Idrissa Gueye and the suspended Ashley Williams miss out.

For the visiting Seagulls, Chris Hughton makes just one alteration from the side that added to Arsenal's woes last Sunday.

The sole change comes in midfield, where Beram Kayal comes in for Dale Stephens as the visitors look to extend their unbeaten league run to a sixth game.

Ezequiel Schelotto is fit to take his place at right-back despite coming off following a strong challenge against the Gunners.

Everton: Pickford; Coleman, Jagielka, Keane, Baines; Sigurdsson, Davies, Rooney; Walcott, Bolasie, Tosun
Subs: Robles, Martina, Niasse, Klaassen, Calvert-Lewin, Holgate, Baningime

Brighton & Hove Albion: Ryan; Schelotto, Duffy, Dunk, Bong; Knockaert, Kayal, Propper, Izquierdo; Gross; Murray
Subs: Krul, Bruno, Goldson, Suttner, March, Ulloa, Locadia
