Everton manager David Moyes has insisted that there is no rush for him to sign a new deal at the club.
Moyes's current deal runs out next summer but the 49-year-old is happy to wait and see what happens this season.
"I will wait and see how things go," he said in the Daily Star. "I don't want anything to take away from the focus because we are sort of on it at the moment.
"Will it become a bigger issue after January time? Maybe so. But I could go to Bill [Kenwright] and we could do something in five minutes. It's not something that is going to take the world to do."
Moyes's Everton face city rivals Liverpool today at 1.30pm.
