Roberto Martinez: 'Ross Barkley will still improve'

Roberto Martinez says that Ross Barkley will continue to get better after an improvement in the player's form this season.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has said that Ross Barkley is yet to reach his potential.

The 21-year-old could make his 100th appearance for Everton in their Premier League match against West Bromwich Albion on Monday.

"Ross is in a very good moment of form," Martinez told Sky Sports News. "He has a real good mindset and it is incredible he has already reached that landmark - 100 games is an incredible figure.

"I see Ross as a very enthusiastic footballer who wants to get better and he hasn't fulfilled his potential yet.

"But he is focused on the next game and he is narrowing his aims and objectives into achievable goals so in that respect I have no worries about Ross."

Barkley has scored three Premier League goals so far this season.
