Leon Osman praises Nikica Jelavic

Everton midfielder Leon Osman has heaped praise upon his teammate Nikica Jelavic.

Croatian striker Jelavic took his goal tally in an Everton shirt to 15 in just 19 appearances during the Toffees' 2-2 draw away at Wigan Athletic on Saturday afternoon.

Discussing the centre-forward's attributes, Osman has admitted that he is impressed with his "knack" of being in the right place at the right time.

"He finds himself in the right position which is vital if you're a striker," Osman told the club's official website.

"Some strikers can be great at finishing but might not find themselves where the ball lands. Thankfully for us Jela's got that knack and we hope he keeps it up."

Everton are currently fourth in the Premier League table.
