Everton youngster Jarrad Branthwaite is reportedly set to sign a new contract with the Toffees.
The defender originally signed for the club from Carlisle United when he was 17-years-old for a fee of £900,000 and was promoted to first-team training by former manager Carlo Ancelotti.
After spending last season at Blackburn Rovers, Branthwaite returned to Merseyside this season, but he is yet to make an appearance under Rafael Benitez.
According to The Daily Mail, Everton are set to offer him a new four-year deal in order to secure his future with the club, although another loan move is in the plans for January.
Despite his lack of game time, Benitez has been impressed with him, which is why the club are now prepared to sign him to a long-term contract.
Branthwaite did find himself on the bench against Liverpool recently, with Everton now preparing to face Arsenal on Monday night.
