The FA rescind the red card given to Everton midfielder Darron Gibson against West Ham United.

Everton and West Ham United have won appeals against red cards given to Darron Gibson and Carlton Cole last Saturday.

Gibson was sent off at Upton Park when referee Andrew Taylor deemed his high challenge on Mark Noble to be dangerous play, while Cole had already been given his marching orders for a similar tackle on Leighton Baines.

Gibson played in last night's 2-1 win over Wigan Athletic as his appeal could not be heard before then.

He was due to miss games against Chelsea, Newcastle United and Swansea City, but Sky Sports News have reported that he will now be available for selection.

However, the 25-year-old picked up a thigh strain in last night's match and could be out regardless.

Cole will now be available for the Hammers' clashes with Reading, Norwich City and Newcastle United.
