Richarlison returns to Everton training ahead of Watford clash

Richarlison returns to Everton training

Everton have been handed a major fitness boost ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Watford, as forward Richarlison has returned to training after a spell out of action through injury.

The Brazilian forward has been out of action since mid-September, missing five Premier League games for Rafael Benitez's side after he was injured in a clash with Burnley.

However, according to Sky Sports News, he has now returned to full training with the Toffees and could make a full recovery imminently.

In the absence of both Richarlison and strike partner Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has been injured since the end of August, Benitez has deployed summer signing Salomon Rondon at the top of the pitch with the support of Demarai Gray and Andros Townsend, but the Brazilian is likely to come back into the squad on Saturday.

Everton meet the 24-year-old's former club Watford at Goodison Park on the back of a defeat to West Ham United last Sunday.

The Brazilian started each of the Toffees' first four games of the league campaign leading up to his injury, and he registered a goal and an assist in the opening 3-1 victory over Southampton after scoring 33 league goals in the last three terms.
