Europa League roundup - early kickoffs

Sports Mole rounds up tonight's early kickoffs in the Europa League.

There were plenty of goals in Thursday night's early Europa League kickoffs as the group stage reached the halfway point.

Bayer Leverkusen and Levante both recorded emphatic wins, but Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan could only manage draws.

Lyon all but secured their place in the next round and Metalist Kharkiv won again as they look to progress.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the action from across Europe.

Group G: Genk have kept their place at the top of the group with a 2-1 win at home to Sporting, while Videoton remain a point behind as they saw off Basel 2-1 in Hungary.

Group H: Leaders Rubin Kazan narrowly defeated Neftci Baku 1-0 at home, and it was equally tight at the San Siro as Rodrigo Sebastian Palacio's late header earned Inter Milan a 1-0 win over Partizan Belgrade.

Group I: It looks as if it's become a two-horse race between Lyon and Sparta Prague in Group I as both sides picked up three points with victories against Hapoel Kiryat Shmona and Athletic Bilbao respectively.

Group J: Tottenham Hotspur kept their hopes of progressing alive with a 1-1 draw in Slovenia against NK Maribor, while leaders Lazio could only manage a 1-1 draw against Panathinaikos.

Group K: Metalist Kharkiv remain unbeaten at the top of their group following a 2-1 win at Rosenborg, but Bayer Leverkusen are close behind as they brushed aside Rapid Vienna 4-0 in Austria.

Group L: Hannover have edged closer to qualification thanks to a 2-1 triumph over Helsingborg in Sweden, and Levante defeated FC Twente 3-0 in Spain to bolster their chances of making it through to the next round.
