Team News: Leighton Baines starts for England

Leighton Baines has been selected ahead of Ashley Cole for England's World Cup qualifier against San Marino at Wembley Stadium.

The Everton full-back is joined in defence by Kyle Walker, Phil Jagielka and Gary Cahill.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott have both been given starting berths in a midfield that also includes Michael Carrick and Tom Cleverley.

Wayne Rooney, who will captain the side, is partnered in attack with Manchester United teammate Danny Welbeck.
