Ryan Bertrand, Jonjo Shelvey called up to England squad

Ryan Bertrand and Jonjo Shelvey have both been called up to the England squad for the next two World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Poland.

Bertrand has established himself in the Chelsea team this season and has already made two appearances for his country.

However, Shelvey will join up with Roy Hodgson's squad for the first time following his impressive start to the season with Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Arsenal's Kieran Gibbs has pulled out of the squad with an injury.
