Report: Saido Berahino being courted by Burundi

Saido Berahino is being courted by the Burundi national team, according to reports.

The West Bromwich Albion striker is yet to play for England, but was in the squad for a Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovenia and a friendly against Scotland last November.

The Mirror reports that Burundi head coach Walter Rainer has attempted to call up Berahino.

Berahino was born in Burundi but moved to England when he was 10 years old. He has previously played for England at Under-16 and Under-21 levels.
