Nathan Redmond has said that he is "happy" to have scored in England Under-21s' 1-0 win over Wales Under-21s in their 2015 European Championships qualifier this evening.
Norwich City winger blasted the ball in in the second half of the match at Derby County's iPro Stadium, helping the Young Lions maintain their unbeaten run in the qualifying campaign.
The 19-year-old wrote on Twitter: "Good three points for us tonight [against] Wales, happy to have got a goal to close out my last day of being a teenager!"
The win leaves England in a strong position to reach the playoffs for next summer's tournament.
