England Under-21 winger Thomas Ince delighted with display in Sweden win

Ince: 'Under-21s looked special in Sweden win'

England Under-21 international Thomas Ince feels that he and his teammates looked "special" in their 4-0 demolition of Sweden on Tuesday.

The Blackpool winger grabbed a brace, his first strikes for Stuart Pearce's side, while Sunderland's Connor Wickham and Liverpool's Jonjo Shelvey grabbed a goal each.

"At club level I've got a lot of braces this season, I've not had a hat-trick yet at a professional level so it's disappointing," Ince told ESPN.

"I've been unlucky in front of goal for England, but like I said it's just nice to get myself off the mark and I'm happy tonight.

"Even though it was a young Sweden side that came here, it was on a difficult pitch and we really did look special."

Ince has made 31 appearances for Blackpool this season in all competitions, scoring 16 goals.
