Roy Hodgson announces England team to face Germany

Roy Hodgson has announced his starting XI for England's friendly against Germany at Wembley tomorrow night.

Daniel Sturridge is fit to start in attack despite leaving training early this morning.

The Liverpool striker looks set to lead the line in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Andros Townsend, Wayne Rooney and Adam Lallana the trio behind him.

Southampton's Lallana made his debut in the 2-0 defeat to Chile and keeps his place as his club teammate Jay Rodriguez drops to the bench after also making his bow on Friday night.
