Frasier Forster has revealed that England's number one Joe Hart is "one of the best people in football" and advised him throughout his international debut against Chile on Friday.
The Celtic keeper made his Three Lions bow in the 2-0 friendly defeat at Wembley, where manager Roy Hodgson explored his alternative goalkeeping options due to Hart's disappointing form for Manchester City.
"Joe was fantastic," Forster told reporters. "He talked to me a lot before the game and at half time. He's obviously very experienced at this level and a top-quality keeper.
"He's a fantastic guy and I can't speak highly enough of him. He's one of the best people I've come across in football.
"Joe's proven what a top-class keeper he is and made save after save. He'll come back stronger. He's a great lad. He's someone I speak to all the time."
Romanian international Costel Pantilimon has been preferred by City manager Manuel Pellegrini in recent games, but England boss Roy Hodgson has confirmed that Hart will start against Germany on Tuesday.
