FA to take active role at goal-line meeting

The Football Association have said that they will be fully involved in Thursday's IFAB meeting over the future of goal-line technology.

FA chairman David Bernstein and General Secretary Alex Horne will travel to Zurich to hear the results of the latest tests after being a main proponent of the technology.

Two systems have been taken forward by FIFA, the British 'Hawk-Eye' system and Germany's 'GoalRef'.

FIFA president Sepp Blatter has said that a final decision will be made on the technology at tomorrow's meeting.
