Preview: Estonia vs. England

Estonia vs. England

England head into Sunday's Euro 2016 qualifier away to Estonia with a 100% record behind them following wins over Switzerland and San Marino.

Roy Hodgson's side have responded to their dismal World Cup campaign in Brazil by looking ahead to the European Championships in France.

On Thursday, the Three Lions took on minnows San Marino at Wembley, with a heavy scoreline expected due to the nation's ranking as the joint-worst team in the world.

Captain Wayne Rooney moved to within seven of Sir Bobby Charlton's all-time goalscoring record for England by nabbing his 42nd in the 5-0 win over the minnows.

On Sunday, the Three Lions will face a different test against Estonia, who secured a surprise 1-0 win over Slovenia last month, but stumbled to a 1-0 loss to Lithuania on Thursday.

England have a healthy record over this weekend's opponents having secured 3-0 wins home and away back in 2007.

In terms of team news, the Three Lions did not pick up any fresh injuries, but Hodgson may opt to make some changes to the side that beat San Marino.

Due to the absence of John Stones, Calum Chambers is likely to keep his place in the back four, while Leighton Baines could return to the fold in place of Kieran Gibbs.

Rooney and Danny Welbeck are likely to continue leading the attack, while Fabian Delph could enter the starting lineup by replacing James Milner.
