Report: Queens Park Rangers, Manchester City interested in Carles Gil

Queens Park Rangers and Manchester City are both reportedly interested in signing on-loan Elche attacker Carles Gil.

The 20-year-old, who is currently on loan at Elche from Valencia, has been one of the most impressive performers in La Liga thus far this season.

His loan agreement with Elche expires at the end of the season, but, according to SuperDeporte, his performances have not gone unnoticed in England, with QPR and Man City monitoring developments with the Spanish Under-21 international.

Gil is under contract with Valencia until 2016, but it is unlikely that his club would be able to repel a serious offer from England.
