Coro pleased with Elche position

Coro calls on his Elche teammates to "keep going one step at a time" as they battle to remain in La Liga.

Elche forward Coro has insisted that his side cannot afford to rest on their laurels despite sitting in 12th position in La Liga with just 12 games remaining.

As it stands, the Spanish outfit, who were promoted from the Segunda last season, sit six points ahead of the relegation zone having won seven times in the league this season.

"I'm happy here with how the season is going, for the confidence of the manager and because the team is where we want it to be," he told reporters at a press conference.

"We'll keep going one step at a time and we're very happy we've got a cushion of six points above the relegation zone. That's how we must keep going."

Coro joined Elche from Girona in 2012.
