Stefan Aigner thrilled to be playing in Europe

Eintract Frankfurt winger Stefan Aigner has admitted that he is enjoying the prospect of European football just two seasons after playing in the 2. Bundesliga.

Aigner, whose Frankfurt side take on Qarabag FK in the second leg of the playoff round on Thursday evening, encouraged his teammates to give a big effort to ensure that they reach the group stage.

"It's really a special occasion for me," Bundesliga.com quotes Aigner as saying. "I've come from the second division and am playing Europa League football in my second season in the Bundesliga!

"We put ourselves in a good position with the 2-0 win in the first leg, now we have to give everything one more time."

The second leg kicks off at the Commerzbank Arena at 7.30pm.
