Dundee have completed the signing of Julen Etxabeguren Leanizbarrutia on a three-year contract.
The 24-year-old arrived in Scotland late last year when he joined East Fife from La Liga side Real Sociedad.
His performances over the last few months captured the attention of Dundee boss Paul Hartley, who has now secured the centre-back's services following a short trial at Dens Park.
According to the club's official website, Leanizbarrutia had been the subject of interest from a number of other clubs.
The Madrid-born player will link up with his new teammates at the start of pre-season training next month.
