Pressley interviewed for Dundee United post

Dundee United have targeted Falkirk manager Steven Pressley as the man they would like to replace Peter Houston.

Houston was removed from his Tannadice post on Monday, despite him having previously agreed to stay at the SPL outfit until the summer.

Former Scotland international Pressley was interviewed for the vacancy on Sunday, but has declined to comment on his future.

United are hoping to make an appointment before their Scottish Cup fifth-round tie with Rangers on Saturday.
