Dundee United loanee Curtis Good has insisted a loan spell at the club could help boost his chances of breaking into the Newcastle United team.
The Australian youngster joined the Scottish Premiership side following a previous spell at Bradford City last season.
"It's always good to go out on loan," Good told Chronicle Live.
"When I first came to Newcastle it was tough, but getting first-team experience is a big help for any player.
"The manager (Alan Pardew) gets to know about how well you're doing, so it works for everybody."
The Australian is yet to be fully capped at international level, although he has represented his country at Under-20 and Under-23 levels.
