Doncaster Rovers sign Habib Beye

Championship club Doncaster Rovers have completed the signing of Aston Villa defender Habib Beye on a loan.

The 34-year-old, who has found starting opportunities at Villa Park limited this season, has joined Rovers until February.

Beye first arrived in England in 2007 when he was signed by Newcastle United. Following their relegation from the Premier League in 2009, he joined Villa.

The Senegal international will wear the number 41 shirt during his stint at the Keepmoat Stadium.
