West Ham United recovered from their opening day loss to Cardiff City by defeating Doncaster Rovers 0-1 at the Keepmoat Stadium this afternoon.
The visiting Hammers took the lead after five minutes courtesy of Kevin Nolan, who lifted the ball into the top corner of the net from close range.
Neither side were able to breach the net for the remainder of the match as Doncaster fell to their second defeat in as many matches.
Next up for West Ham is a trip to Watford on Tuesday, August 16 while Doncaster host Nottingham Forest on the same day.
