Johnny Russell undergoes Derby County medical

Dundee United striker Johnny Russell will secure a move to Derby County if he passes a medical next week.

A fee of around £750,000 has been agreed for the 23-year-old, who had also been linked with Italian side Catania.

A Dundee United statement said: "The transfer is expected to be concluded after the player has completed the necessary formalities early next week."

The Scot scored 20 goals for the Terrors last season.
