Steve McClaren doubts Kalifa Cisse deal

Manager Steve McClaren has admitted that Kalifa Cisse is unlikely to join his Derby County side.

The free agent, who has previously played for Reading and Bristol City, has recently had a trial period at Pride Park.

However, McClaren has revealed that the 29-year-old will have to look elsewhere for another club.

"He is going to play in the Under-21 game at Huddersfield [today] but I don't think we are going to do anything with Kalifa," said McClaren.

Cisse has been without a club since his release by New England Revolution in August of this year.
