Teenage goalkeeper Jonathan Mitchell has signed a one-year contract at Derby County.
The 19-year-old will join the Rams when his current deal with Newcastle United expires on June 30.
Mitchell will attempt to impress Steve McClaren and provide competition for Derby's current number one Lee Grant.
He never made a first-team appearance for Newcastle United, spending part of the last two seasons on loan at Conference North side Workington.
