Nigel Clough charged by Football Association

Derby County manager Nigel Clough has been handed an improper conduct charge by the Football Association.

The charge relates to an incident during the club's defeat at Peterborough in the Championship game last weekend.

The Rams lost the match 3-2 having led 2-0 at one stage during the opening 45 minutes, a result which Clough partially blamed on the referee's performance.

He has until 4pm on Friday to respond to the charge.
