Nigel Clough disappointed with "silly errors"

Clough: 'Scoreline was harsh on us'

Nigel Clough has claimed that "silly errors" sent his Derby County side to defeat against Peterborough United on Saturday afternoon.

Derby controlled the game for long spells but a late brace from Saido Berahino ended their run of five games without defeat.

Clough told the club's official website: "It was one of those days where nothing seemed to go for us and we're really disappointed to lose the unbeaten run, because today was a chance to get a point or three on the board.

"It was one of those days where nothing seemed to go for us and we're really disappointed to lose the unbeaten run, because today was a chance to get a point or three on the board.

"The frustrating thing is 3-0 wasn't a fair reflection on us because we had a fair bit of the ball and created a few chances, and as it turned out when Theo Robinson hit the post early in the second half it was a turning point in the game."

Derby are now 13th in the Championship, while Peterborough have climbed out of the relegation zone.
