Championship Manager of the Month shortlist revealed

The four-man shortlist for November's Championship Manager of the Month has been revealed and on it are Paul Clement, Chris Hughton, Aitor Karanka and Mick McCarthy.

Clement's Derby County kept three clean sheets and won three out of four, including a 2-0 win at fellow high-flyers Hull City, to continue their ascent up the table.

Brighton & Hove Albion have been setting the pace for much of the season under Hughton and finished November still unbeaten after 18 games.

Karanka's Middlesbrough collected nine points from four matches, while Ipswich Town, under McCarthy, won three and drew one of their four last month, including three-goal wins over Rotherham United and Charlton Athletic.

The winner will be announced on Friday morning.
