Czech defender suffers racist abuse

Czech Republic defender Theodor Gebre Selassie was reportedly the subject of racist abuse from Russian supporters last night.

The chants are believed to have been heard inside the stadium in Wroclaw as Russia ran out 4-1 winners against their Czech counterparts.

It has been brought to light by the Football Against Racism in Europe network, who identified the abuse and far-right Russian flags, according to the Associated Press.

UEFA are yet to comment on the alleged incidents.
