Team News: Arsenal make six changes ahead of CSKA Moscow clash

Six changes for Arsenal at CSKA

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made six changes to his starting XI for Thursday night's Europa League quarter-final second leg at CSKA Moscow.

The Gunners boss rotated his squad for the 3-2 Premier League win over Southampton at the weekend but has now reinstated his big guns in Europe.

Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette are drafted in, while Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal also return to the defence.

There are just two changes from the starting lineup which faced CSKA in the first leg, Mohamed Elneny and Danny Welbeck coming in for the ill Granit Xhaka and the injured Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

David Ospina and Santi Cazorla are also missing through injury, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is cup-tied.

CSKA, meanwhile, have made three changes from the first leg at the Emirates Stadium.

Wing-back Kirill Nababkin returns from suspension in place of Georgi Shchennikov while striker Fyodor Chalov comes in for Pontus Wernbloom.

The other change sees Kristijan Bistrovic replace Bibras Natkho in midfield.

CSKA Moscow: Akinfeev; V. Berezutski, Ignashevich, A. Berezutski; Kuchaev, Bistrovich, Nababkin; Golovin, Dzagoev; Chalov, Musa Subs: Pomazun, Milanov, Vitinho, Shchennikov, Natcho, Zhamaletdinov, Khosonov

Arsenal: Cech; Bellerin, Monreal, Mustafi, Koscielny; Elneny, Ramsey; Wilshere, Welbeck, Ozil; Lacazette Subs: Macey, Mertesacker, Kolasinac, Holding, Chambers, Nketiah, Iwobi
