Pulis hints at January transfers

Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis has suggested that he might have to sell players before he can add to his squad during the January transfer window.

The Eagles, who currently have 10 players out through injury, head into the festive period one point from safety in the Premier League table.

"I think it's ideal when you do your business early on because there's so many games through January," Pulis is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"And you don't want to be chasing one or two at the end of the month, but that depends on who will go as well as who will come in. There has to be a little bit of movement out to allow players to come in.

"It's just a case of seeing who's available, what we've got, what we can do, and trying to wheel and deal to the best interests of the club."

Palace continue their Premier League campaign on Boxing Day when they make the trip to Aston Villa.
