Crystal Palace sign Danny Gabbidon

Crystal Palace have completed the signing of former Queens Park Rangers defender Danny Gabbidon on a free transfer.

The 33-year-old, who departed the R's in the summer, has been praised by Palace boss Dougie Freedman.

"Danny is an experienced player and we need that right now. This division throws a lot of games at you," Freedman told BBC London 94.9.

Palace drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest in the Championship on Tuesday.
