Alex McCarthy's Fulham switch collapses?

Alex McCarthy's proposed loan switch to Fulham has reportedly been called off.

It is believed that the Crystal Palace goalkeeper underwent a medical with the Championship team earlier this evening.

However, following a series of discussions, Sky Sports News claims that a deal between the two clubs could not be reached.

Twenty-six-year-old McCarthy is now expected to return to Palace, for whom he has made six appearances in all competitions this season.
