Result: Crystal Palace 1-1 Derby County

Derby County have secured a much-needed point with a 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace in the Championship.

The Rams came into the match at Selhurst Park having suffered five straight league defeats.

The home side took the lead after 15 minutes when Chris Martin fired in from outside of the area.

Nigel Clough's side earned themselves a point with 15 minutes to play when Patrick McCarthy diverted a cross into his own net.

Both sides frantically pressed for a winner in the remaining minutes, but neither could find the elusive goal.
