Crystal Palace predicted XI vs Bournemouth: Possible lineup for Premier League clash

Eze, Wharton in the team? Crystal Palace predicted XI vs. Bournemouth

Crystal Palace are prepared to welcome Eberechi Eze back to their matchday squad for the Premier League trip to Bournemouth on Boxing Day.

The 26-year-old missed a 5-1 thumping at the hands of Arsenal in the top flight on the weekend, although Oliver Glasner is hopeful of having the attacking threat available once again.

On the other end of the injury spectrum, Adam Wharton is set to miss the rest of the festive schedule as he continues to recover from a troublesome groin issue.

After shipping five goals to Mikel Arteta's ruthless crop last time out, Palace would be smart to make some defensive alterations, with Trevoh Chalobah likely to join Maxence Lacroix and Marc Guehi in the centre-back trio at the expense of Chris Richards.

There is also set to be a change to the makeup of the Eagles' right-hand side, with Daniel Munoz available once again after serving a suspension.

Despite impressing in recent times, Ismaila Sarr's minutes could be impacted by a hectic calendar, with the winger potentially dropping out of the side to make room for Eddie Nketiah.

Jefferson Lerma and Will Hughes will likely to be asked to go again in midfield, although Cheick Doucoure and Justin Devenny provide interesting options off the bench.

Crystal Palace possible starting lineup: Henderson; Chalobah, Lacroix, Guehi; Munoz, Hughes, Lerma, Mitchell; Eze, Nketiah, Mateta
