Pardew urges Palace to improve home form

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has admitted that it is vital for his team to improve their form at Selhurst Park in order to keep themselves in the Premier League.

The former Newcastle United boss has guided his team to five consecutive away victories since taking over the Eagles back in January.

However, at home, Palace have scooped just one triumph in the form of a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur during Pardew's reign.

"We really need to address [our home form] when we play QPR," ESPN quotes Pardew as saying. "It is always better to win in front of your own fans at home, send everyone home happy, all the little kids, because then they will come back week after week.

"It is just frustrating that we haven't replicated that at home. The home form is everything I keep telling this group of players."

Palace are eight points above the relegation zone with 11 games to play.
