Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has said that the biggest change he has brought about since taking charge of the Eagles is to the mindset of his players.
Pardew took control of Palace in January, leading them to a tenth-placed finish in the Premier League last season.
"The thing I've changed here is the mindset of the players, to dream, to try and excel," Pardew told BT Sport.
"I think it's important that a football manager gets the best out of the players that he has available, and I like to think I'm pretty good at that.
"Here I think they were probably under performing, they weren't even average. Sometimes you get in a groove, and I think the groove here was to hold on to games. I just flipped that on it's head and demanded we win."
Crystal Palace are next in action when they face West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
