McArthur looks for more goals

Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur has expressed his hope that he can score goals on a regular basis after opening his account for the club.

The Scot netted his first Palace goal after 11 minutes of Saturday's 1-1 draw with Stoke City at Selhurst Park.

"I want to add more goals to my game and I think I can here, especially when we're playing three in midfield, it gives me the license to get forward," McArthur told the Epsom Guardian.

"Joe [Ledley] is the same. As a team we want to add goals throughout the team and keep pushing ourselves."

Palace continue their Premier League campaign when they travel to Manchester City on Saturday.
