Yannick Bolasie: 'Crystal Palace unlucky to lose to Southampton'

Yannick Bolasie believes that Crystal Palace were unlucky to lose away to Southampton.

Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie has claimed that he and his teammates were unlucky to lose to Southampton on Tuesday.

The Eagles suffered their second Premier League defeat in three games last night as a late goal from Sadio Mane made the difference at St Mary's Stadium.

Bolasie believes that Palace should have come away from the match with at least a point following a determined display on the South Coast.

"We created quite a few chances and had some more right at the end so I think we were quite unlucky," he told the club's official website. "I think we deserved something from the game but but we have to move on now and look forward.

"The heads won't drop, Southampton are a good team but at the end of the day we've just got to look forward to the next one which is a big game against Queens Park Rangers."

Palace continue their league campaign on March 14 when they welcome Queens Park Rangers to Selhurst Park.
