Yannick Bolasie keen to justify Alan Pardew's valuation

Yannick Bolasie reveals that he is keen to prove Alan Pardew right after the Crystal Palace manager claimed that he could be worth £40m.

Yannick Bolasie has revealed that he is eager to prove Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew right by becoming a player worth £40m-60m.

The Palace boss made the claim after Bolasie's fine form in recent months resulted in him being linked with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, and the 25-year-old believes that he can rise to the top of the game.

"I am always learning every day - I am equivalent to a puzzle coming together," the Palace winger told The Mirror. "I am putting all the pieces together and just trying to get the final parts. My game has really improved this season and a lot of people have really seen what I can do.

"They normally say the second season in the Premier League is the hardest because everyone knows you. But I haven't been really sussed out yet. The manager says I could be worth £40m-60m, I find it interesting and funny, but potentially why not?

"All the work I put in, if I score some more goals then why not potentially one day? I strive to improve and every season I have different aims."

Bolasie joined Palace from Bristol City for a reported £400,000 in 2012.
