Crystal Palace defender Mamadou Sakho returns to training

Crystal Palace defender Mamadou Sakho makes his return to full training this week after more than a month on the sidelines.

Crystal Palace defender Mamadou Sakho has made his return to full training after more than a month on the sidelines.

The former Liverpool man has been out of action since New Year's Day when he injured his hamstring during a 1-1 draw with Norwich City.

Palace have won just once since Sakho has been out of action and currently sit 13th in the Premier League table.

The 30-year-old has made just eight appearances this season because of injuries and is unlikely to make Palace's trip to Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend.

Sakho arrived at Selhurst Park in the January of 2017 and has made 63 appearances, scoring one goal.
