Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has revealed that Yohan Cabaye is a doubt for this Saturday's Premier League match against Manchester United at Selhurst Park.
The Frenchman was forced to withdraw from last night's Capital One Cup fourth-round defeat to Manchester City before kickoff.
The 29-year-old, who signed for the Eagles from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, travelled to the Etihad Stadium, but played no part in the 5-1 loss due to injury.
Jason Puncheon is also a doubt for this weekend's game, while Marouane Chamakh, Connor Wickham and Pape Souare have all been ruled out.
"Cabaye was injured and we're sweating on him for Saturday," Sky Sports News quotes Pardew as saying. "Connor and Chamakh are both training but they won't make Saturday for sure. Pape, same again, and he is an important player for us down that left-hand side."
Palace have suffered back-to-back defeats in the league.
