League One roundup: Kevin Lisbie continues Leyton Orient run

Kevin Lisbie scores yet again for Leyton Orient as they remain top of the League One table, despite a 2-1 victory for Wolverhampton Wanderers away at Bradford City.

Leyton Orient continued their great start to the League One season as they grabbed a 1-0 victory over Rotherham United this afternoon, with in-form striker Kevin Lisbie scoring yet again for the O's.

In what turned out to be a close affair, Lisbie's first-half goal was crucial as the London club retained their position at the summit of the table.

Wolverhampton Wanderers kept the pressure on the league leaders as they came from behind to beat Bradford City 2-1 away from home, leaving them three points behind Orient with a game in hand.

The away side originally went 1-0 down following a strike from Raffaele de Vita, but James Henry and Richard Stearman provided the away side with two vital goals.

Peterborough United were dealt a blow in their bid to mount a title challenge as they lost on their travels against Colchester United, with Macauley Bonne netting the home side's winner in the second half.

Elsewhere, Bristol City recorded their first victory in 22 games as Jay Emmanuel-Thomas scored a second-half hat-trick to give them a 4-2 win over Carlisle United, while Tranmere Rovers also came from behind to beat MK Dons 3-2.

Down at the foot of the table, Stevenage grabbed a much-need victory over Crawley Town, with Peter Hartley and Michael Doughty getting the goals for Graham Westley's side.

Notts County also lost 1-0 at home to Preston North End, meaning that they now sit at the bottom of the league following Bristol City's win.
