Willian was dropped from the Chelsea side against Leicester City due to concerns over the attacker's attitude following a failed move to Barcelona, according to a report.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard reportedly dropped Willian from his starting XI against Leicester City last time out due to concerns over the attacker's attitude following a failed move to Barcelona.

The Brazil international has less than six months left to run on his contract at Stamford Bridge and continues to be linked with a move to the Spanish champions.

Willian has been a regular for the Blues this season despite Lampard favouring youth, but the South American was only on the bench for the 2-2 draw with Leicester last weekend.

According to The Sun, the Chelsea boss felt that Willian's head had dropped after failing to secure a move to Barca in January, which led to Pedro bring handed a rare chance to impress.

The report claims that Lampard is hopeful that the winter break will allow Willian 'to sort his head out' as he will be staying in London for at least the remainder of the current season.

The attacker has managed five goals and five assists in 31 outings for the Blues during the 2019-20 campaign, including four strikes in 24 Premier League appearances.
