West Ham United are reportedly facing competition for Chelsea's Tammy Abraham as Borussia Dortmund enter the frame for his signature, which could be worth up to £40m.

West Ham United have reportedly been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, who is valued by his club between £30m and 40m.

The 23-year-old has been out of favour with the Blues since Thomas Tuchel's arrival in January and his latest disappointment came when he was completely left out of the squad for the FA Cup final.

West Ham are on the search for a forward as they did not replace Sebastien Haller, who left for Ajax in January, and Manchester United loanee Jesse Lingard is expected to return to Old Trafford.

According to TEAMtalk, German giants Borussia Dortmund are interested in the English forward, as their winger Jadon Sancho's future is unclear.

David Moyes is reportedly open to taking Abraham on loan initially, but Chelsea are reluctant to accept that proposal and Dortmund could have more sufficient funds to offer the Blues should a bidding war commence.

Abraham made his Chelsea first-team debut in 2016 before fully breaking into the side when Frank Lampard took over in the 2019-20 campaign.
