Report: Chelsea complete Cristian Manea deal

Chelsea have reportedly agreed to sign highly-rated defender Cristian Manea from Viitorul.

The 17-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best teenagers in European football and has already been capped by Romania.

A number of clubs have been linked with a move, but according to Dolce Sport, Chelsea have won the race after agreeing a price in the region of £2.5m with his Romanian club.

Manea made his international debut in May, becoming his country's youngest-ever player in the process.

It is understood that the deal will go through in January.
